Information
Contributor guide
How to submit original articles, courses and learning modules to Clinical Education.
Clinical Education welcomes original educational contributions from healthcare professionals.
What you may submit
Articles, course or module proposals, assessment material, clinical education resources and news suggestions may be considered.
Originality and prior publication
Submissions should be your own work and should not have been published elsewhere unless this is declared and agreed with the editor. Do not submit copyrighted material you are not authorised to reproduce.
Academic standards
Use primary sources where possible, distinguish evidence from opinion, provide direct references and declare relevant conflicts of interest. Clinical material should identify the guideline or evidence version used and should be written so that readers are reminded to check current primary guidance and local policy.
Confidentiality
Do not include patient-identifiable information, confidential employment information or material that you are not authorised to share.
AI-assisted drafting
If generative AI materially assisted drafting, editing, image creation or reference discovery, tell the editor. The named contributor remains responsible for accuracy, originality, source checking and authorship.
Files
You may upload one DOCX or PDF file, up to 10 MB. Alternatively, email the editor directly using the address shown on the Contribute page.
Editorial review
Submission does not guarantee publication. The editor may request revisions, decline material, edit for house style, or ask for additional source verification before publication.
