Information
Terms of use
Essential terms for using ClinicalEdu learning, tutor support, messaging and certificates.
ClinicalEdu provides independent educational material and optional tutor support for healthcare professionals. By using the service you agree to use it lawfully, professionally and responsibly.
Educational purpose
ClinicalEdu is not an NHS body and does not provide patient-specific clinical, legal, employment, regulatory, immigration, financial or tax advice. Current primary guidance, local policy, professional judgement and appropriate supervision take precedence for real-world decisions.
Professional conduct and confidentiality
Do not submit patient-identifiable information, confidential clinical information, confidential employment-case material, abusive content, threats, harassment, bullying, discriminatory material or information you are not authorised to share.
Tutor messaging governance
Optional tutor messaging is an internal educational communication service. It is not an urgent clinical-advice service. Messages may be automatically screened for safety and confidentiality indicators. Top-level administrators and specifically authorised governance deputies may review flagged, reported or otherwise necessary conversations to protect users, confidentiality and the correct and lawful operation of ClinicalEdu. Such governance access is audited.
Tutor meetings
Meeting support is optional, dependent on tutor availability and subject to administrative authorisation. A participant's registered email address will not be disclosed for a meeting invitation unless that participant has provided the relevant meeting-contact consent. Any later independent communication outside ClinicalEdu is not part of the ClinicalEdu messaging service, although concerns arising from a ClinicalEdu tutor relationship may still be reported to ClinicalEdu.
Assessment and certificates
Certificates confirm completion of the stated educational activity and assessment result. They do not establish clinical competence, specialist status, regulatory approval or accredited CPD unless explicitly stated.
External guidance
Users may consult the ICO, GMC, NMC and HCPC for independent regulatory information relevant to their circumstances.
