About this service

Chris is an AI-supported educational companion

Chris helps you navigate ClinicalEdu learning, explain topics and find relevant professional resources. The service is designed to support learning and professional reflection, not to replace your own judgement or the current original source.

How Ask Chris works

Prefer to read? The sections below explain Chris's sources, limitations, privacy and responsible use.

What Chris uses

Chris is instructed to work primarily from the ClinicalEdu approved knowledgebase. This includes approved ClinicalEdu learning material, selected approved SAS Doctors resources and a curated directory of recognised authoritative sources. Chris does not have permission to treat unsupported general model knowledge as the authority for important clinical, legal, regulatory or professional claims.

Accuracy and current guidance

AI-generated answers can be incomplete, misunderstand a question or occasionally make an error. Guidance, law, professional standards and clinical recommendations can also change. If an answer matters to practice, regulation, employment, law or patient care, confirm it against the current original source and your applicable local policy.

Educational use, not individual clinical advice

Chris provides general educational information. Do not use Chris as a substitute for professional judgement, supervision, urgent clinical assessment or patient-specific decision-making. If you describe a real clinical situation, Chris is designed to keep the response at a general educational level rather than provide an individual treatment plan.

Privacy

Do not enter patient-identifiable or other unnecessary confidential information. Questions are sent to the configured AI provider so that Chris can generate a response. ClinicalEdu does not store the raw question or Chris's answer in D1 by default; aggregate operational usage information may be recorded to manage limits, safety and cost.

Free service and responsibility

Ask Chris is provided free of charge as an educational support service. You remain responsible for how you interpret and use the information. Use the service at your own judgement and risk, and verify anything important or uncertain before relying on it.

Questions, concerns or feedback

If you have a question about Chris, notice an inaccurate or unclear answer, or want to report a concern, please contact the ClinicalEdu administrator through the site's contact service.
