Older Person, Frailty & Community Care Centre

The ClinicalEdu Handbook: Older Person, Frailty & Community Care

The completed reference handbook, organised into eight parts and forty chapters, now acts as the controlling ClinicalEdu-authored editorial backbone for this centre. The website is its shorter searchable and interactive layer.

Understanding the Person, the Illness and the Journey

The definitive handbook is a completed, substantial source-led reference work rather than a set of short web chapters. Its central question is what was true about this person before the present problem, what is happening now, why, what may change, what matters, and how a realistic accountable plan can survive movement between settings.

Editorial status

The 40-chapter handbook is complete and now provides the controlling ClinicalEdu-authored reference for the centre. Web summaries, case journeys and Ask Chris teaching should derive from that final source lineage while current original guidance remains authoritative for time-sensitive practice.
